For the 25 families who lost their lives during the floods in Bihar, Akshay Kumar came close to helping with Rs 4 lakh. Checks will be given to various families during the puja.

Akshay Kumar said that a trademark disaster reminds us that we are nothing before this. He said that we should help in our own way. He further stated that it could not be more obvious to help those who have lost everything and those who can resume as soon as possible.

On the work front, Akshay Kumar's previous release Housefull 4 was released in theaters over the weekend of Diwali.
